Turkey is concerned over the killing of three Jewish teenagers who went missing since mid June, according the a statement issued by Turkey's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.
Tension has mounted between Jews and Arabs in Jerusalem since the three settlers – who went missing since June 12 – were found dead on Monday near the West Bank city of Hebron.
"It is important not to punish our Palestinian brothers who have nothing to do with the incident," said Tuesday's statement.
Although no Palestinian group has claimed responsibility for the settlers' disappearance or death, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly accused Gaza-based Hamas of abducting and murdering the trio, but without producing any evidence in support of his claims.
Following the announcement of the death of the missing settlers, the Israeli army said it struck 34 targets in the besieged Gaza Strip "in retaliation" for what it said over 18 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel since Sunday. [Zionists have their own agents who do this].
