Netanyahu vs. UN: Israeli PM slams UNHRC after its report ratified

"Netanyahu attacked the UNHRC, blaming the organization for condemning Israel on the day a projectile launched from Sinai hit southern Israel.
“On the day on which Israel was fired at from Sinai, and at a time when ISIS is committing vicious terrorist attacks in Egypt, as [Syrian President Bashar] Assad slaughters his people in Syria, and as the number of arbitrary executions per annum climbs in Iran – the UN Human Rights Council decides to condemn the State of Israel for no fault of its own, for acting to defend itself from a murderous terrorist organization,” he added."
What Nuttyahoo really means to say, to sum it up,  is that  "Israel may have the right to put others on trial, but certainly no one has the right to put the Jewish people and the State of Israel on trial" ~ BBC

"Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attacked the UN Human Rights Council following a resolution accepting a UNHRC report, which presented evidence of war crimes committed by both Israel and Hamas in the summer of 2014.

It urges the implementation of the report’s recommendations and calls for proper prosecution of Israeli officials responsible for the alleged violations.
The decision comes on the one year anniversary of Israel’s “Operation Protective Edge,” which was launched in response to rocket attacks from Gaza.

During the 50 day military operation, more than 2,100 Palestinians were killed in heavy bombing of the the densely populated Gaza strip by Israel’s air force. Israeli losses amounted to 67 soldiers and six civilians.
“The UN Human Rights Council is not interested in the facts and is not really interested in human rights,” Netanyahu said in a statement.
Forty-one countries voted in favor of the resolution, while the US was the only country to vote against it. India, Kenya, Ethiopia, Paraguay and Macedonia abstained. The resolution was presented by the Palestinian delegation and backed by Muslim states.

Netanyahu attacked the UNHRC, blaming the organization for condemning Israel on the day a projectile launched from Sinai hit southern Israel.
“On the day on which Israel was fired at from Sinai, and at a time when ISIS is committing vicious terrorist attacks in Egypt, as [Syrian President Bashar] Assad slaughters his people in Syria, and as the number of arbitrary executions per annum climbs in Iran – the UN Human Rights Council decides to condemn the State of Israel for no fault of its own, for acting to defend itself from a murderous terrorist organization,” he added.

'ICC credibility test’: Palestinians submit first war crimes evidence against Israel

The Israeli leader stressed that UNHR has adopted more resolutions against Israel than the sum of all resolutions against other countries. The council “cannot call itself a human rights council … Those who fear to openly attack terrorism will – in the end – be attacked by terrorism.”

Neither this report, nor any other criticism, will stop Israel from defending its own citizens, according to the prime minister.

“The State of Israel acted to defend itself against a murderous terrorist organization,” he claimed referring to the war in Gaza.
Earlier this week, Netanyahu reportedly questioned his country’s membership in the UNHRC. “In light of the [UN Gaza] report, we will consider whether or not to stay in the Human Rights Council,” Netanyahu said, according to Army Radio.

  1. There's pics on the 'Net allegedly showing he Grad rockets being launched into Israel, but strangely enough, they don't show who set them off.

A cynical person like me would say that's because the IDF or some Apartheid Israel terrorist group like the Shin Bet were the ones who launched the rockets.
    But that's only because I'm cynical! ;)

Here's a link to "RT" that shows the rockets being launched somewhere, maybe even the American Southwest.

Lying SOB's can't even get the number of Gazans murdered right, leaving out over 700 dead.

  2. I'd say Israeli agents 98% of the time. They don't even really have to shoot rockets they just report it whenever they want. It's the raison d'etre for every "Israeli" attack.

  3. The repetitive rhetoric of US/Israel government and corporate media make this claim, based upon Israeli government testimony. The “Qassam rocket” is a homemade projectile that appears to have killed 28 Israelis since 2004.

Israel’s publications admit they don’t know the source of the reported “rockets;” guessing 22% are from Hamas.

Hamas denies launching rockets, affirms a peaceful two-state solution, and we know that Israel violated the last ceasefire agreement (see “Hamas” section). Given a history of false flag attacks by Israel I’ll explain below, isn’t it possible that Israeli agents fire at least some of these rockets to provide political cover for Israel’s armed attacks?

If Israel is engaged in unlawful war on Gaza, such as subject to military siege by water and land as Israel does by sealing Gaza’s borders and imposing a naval blockade, then any Palestinian is lawfully able to act in defense of Israel’s war acts, including the shooting of homemade rockets.
